During a three month lockdown in Shanghai, I found much of my free time to be occupied by three categories of thought: naturally occurring patterns in plant life, characteristic rhythms and patterns across dance music sub-genres and rap production, and the human-led reproduction of natural subjects in art and perfumery.

My time and energy went towards putting my thoughts into musical sketches that quickly began taking on a shape of their own. Weight of the Sun is the resulting project.
